These combined
incubators and shakers have been designed to provide controlled and
uniform conditions. Forced air circulation ensures uniform heating. The
desired temperature is easily set and accurately monitored via a digital
display. For extra protection of samples, each incubator is fitted with
an adjustable safety cut-out. Shaking action is automatically halted when
the door is open for maximum user safety.
There are
three models to choose from:
SI50: Has an
orbital shaking action and a versatile clamping system which secures most
sizes and mixtures of flasks up to 2 liters capacity. Typically, the
platform will accommodate the following Erlenmeyer flasks: 9 x 250 ml, or
6 x 500 ml or 4 x 1,000 ml or 1 x 2000 ml.
SI70: Has a
gentle 3D gyratory motion, ideal for low foaming agitation, DNA
extractions, staining and de-staining gels, etc. The blue non-slip mat
holds vessels in place. The tier system doubles the working space.
SI80: Has a
see-saw shaking action ideal for washing and blotting procedures. The
blue non-slip mat holds vessels in place. The tier system doubles the
working space.

A very versatile 20 liter hybridization
incubator combined rocker shaker which only requires a minimum of bench
space. Forced air circulation combined with microprocessor control gives
outstanding temperature uniformity.
The
incubator has a stainless steel interior, while the door is constructed
from a double panel of smoked acrylic and polycarbonate to provide
radiation protection. Conversion of the unit to rocker is fast and easy.
(Simply remove the rotisserie and pull forward the platform located at
the rear of the incubator.)
The gentle rocking action is ideal for the washing stage of most hybridization
procedures. Rocking speed is fully variable allowing optimization
depending on application. A range of hybridization tubes made from glass
and leak proof PTFE faced screw caps, are available.

Hybridization
bottles
Made from borosilicate
glass, Stuart hybridization bottles are robust and can easily withstand the
temperatures of the most rigorous hybridization techniques. The
thermoplastic polyester caps are very rigid and will not distort with
repeated heating. The PTFE cap insert that covers the entire inside of the
cap making very good contact with the glass thread. Available in
three sizes, each bottle comes complete with cap and care leaflet.
