UVIlite Ultraviolet Filtered Lamps

Ultraviolet White Light Conversion Screen

UVIlite Ultraviolet Filtered Lamps

These highly efficient, well designed lamps are produced in three wavelengths: 254, 312 and 365nm and dual wavelength combinations. All incorporate an extruded, anodisedaluminium housing and a specially designed operator friendly shape allowing these lamps to be held easily with gloved hands. Power ranges from a single 4W tube up to two 15W tubes.

Applications include:

Short wavelength (254nm)
Fluorescence techniques, fluorochemistry, mineralogy, photopolymerisation, mutation studies, toxicology.

Mid wavelength (312nm)
Electrophoresis gel viewing.

Long wavelength (365nm)
TLC plate viewing, fluorochemistry, food inspection, quality control, titration, pesticide analysis, mineralogy.

UV/white light conversion screen

230 x 170mm

A space saving, economical solution to the problem of using a gel documentation system for both ultraviolet and white light illuminated gels.

By placing the UV/white light conversion screen over the filter of a 312nm transilluminator, all ultraviolet radiation is blocked and the screen transmits only white light.

Suitable for use with Coomassie blue and silver stained protein gels, autoradiograms etc.

The UV/white light screen is considerably lower in cost than a mini/bench-top white light transilluminator as well as taking up less valuable storage space.
